Migrants seeking asylum in the United States have found their hopes and plans thrown into chaos following a series of executive orders on border control issued by former President Donald Trump. These measures have significantly altered the landscape for those looking to find refuge within the US, leading to widespread confusion and disillusionment among migrant communities. Trump's administrative actions aimed at tightening US border controls have had a profound effect on the process of seeking asylum.
