'A bullet train for power': China's ultra-high-voltage electricity grid

China, already leading the global race in the production of clean energy, is now on the brink of another monumental stride with the rollout of an ultra-high-voltage (UHV) electricity grid. The colossal initiative, likened to a "bullet train for power", is set to revolutionize energy transmission, enabling the conveyance of electricity over vast distances with minimal losses. This remarkable advancement could not only bolster China's energy security but also significantly reduce its carbon footprint, amplifying the nation's push towards a more sustainable future.
